Gifts to the Collection
The Colrain Historical Society welcomes gifts to the collection that help preserve and tell the story of our town’s unique history. If you have an item that you would like to donate, please contact a member of the Curatorial Committee (Belden Merims or Prentice Crosier.) Please – no drop-offs! You will be asked to fill out a gift agreement form that includes information about the object – who made it, how it was used, who has owned it. Since we can only accept gifts that match our mission and that we can provide a good home for, all donations must be approved by the Board of Directors. If the item is accepted, you’ll receive a letter of acknowledgement. If it is not, the item will be returned to you.
